Bio:

Tinamit Textiles is a small business based in Cambridge, MA and several communities around Lake Attitlan, Guatemala. Inspired by my love of maya textiles, I go to the local markets and buy fabric for these garments. The local maya tailors repurpose this fabric into various items of clothing including tunics, shirts, blouses, and jackets. These tailors set the prices for the garments and this money helps support their families. A portion of these wages paid to these tailors also helps support a children's educational project located in a small community on the shores of Lake Attitlan.
