T’Karima Ticitl is a Mexika/Wirarika midwife. She is the founder of Matriarch Council, Inc., serving low-income families in their pregnancies, birth, and postpartum period. Cihuapahtli Matriarch Council, Inc., became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Spring 2020. Cihuapahtli Matriarch Council, Inc., will provide holistic well woman care and midwifery services for low-income women, childbirth education, plant medicine, and education in the state of New Jersey.
